Big round of applause to the star of the day...the traffic lights at the corner with "McTrive" .
I happened to be there and witnessed how people celebrated those three, four extra seconds on the pedestrian crossing space. One of them swallowed instantly his "thick mac" and even returned for a second one. It brought so much positive energy...a couple that was holding their child by hands started talking about making another baby!!!
Real triumph today in town!
On the other side I can imagine someone in a office, grumpy saying that there should not be extra seconds for pedestrians. They are just Teakaka Pax abusers of discounted trainers. The interest for extra seconds should be on the people that travel by car, they comply with the fuel, insurance and road tax prices and they should be looked after more carefully.
